Spar

Spar was a really great little dog. He was reserved at first, but moved quickly to wiggling and grinning. He loved the water and really enjoyed playing with the hose and fetching toys.

Spar had bonded himself to Betty's sister, Jane, and before she passed away they had been training and competing together in agility. He had a lot of talent and a great deal of potential.

He was an ASCA Conformation Champion. He finished in the altered program with all points under ASCA Breeder Judges. Spar was a very correct mover and structurally sound. He was true to Aussie type and had a classic look, much like his dam, Britt. Spar could have easily earned his championship in the intact program, but was altered due to our own life circumstances and not because of any health or structural issues.

We lost Spar on 5/30/2025 a couple months shy of his 17th birthday. He and Jane are together again. 🩵
