Moose

Moose was a Canadian import from Brenda Aelick at Highrail Aussies. She was certainly a character and always kept us laughing. She was an excellent bird snatcher! She was quick and focused enough to catch a sparrow out of the air. We think she would have made an excellent chore dog on a farm. Moose was very independent and definitely prefered to do things in her own time, but she was a quick learner and enjoyed working with us.

Moose was put together incredibly well and her coloring was very striking. She moved beautifully and effortlessly.

Moose finished her ASCA Championship with 14 points and all majors in Intact. She earned her last point in Altered at the age of 12. She was only shown to ASCA Breeder Judges. Thanks so much to Andrea Torres, Shelly Hollen, and Gail Karamalegos for appreciating her type, movement and uniqueness.

Moose whelped one litter, with our Sawyer, and we're so proud of how they turned out. We kept one puppy, Horse, out of that cross.

We lost Moose on 6/12/2024 at the age of 14. We will miss her silly personality.
