Milla

Milla was a special dog. She was Kalla's constant companion for all her life. She was attentive and alert, extremely food motivated, and very expressive. She had a perfect temperament.

We tried to breed her, but it didn't take. Further attempts were abandoned due to Kalla attending college. If only for better timing, Milla would have been an exceptional performance dog and high quality dam.

Milla enjoyed being a companion more than she liked being shown, but she and Kalla had a few successful agility runs in her youth. We would often show her in ASCA's altered conformation program. Her prick ears are a severe fault, but her conformation otherwise is stellar. She's a beautiful example of the breed.

Milla spent many years "on patrol" barking at passersby, herding cats, and being a nanny to Kalla's step-daughter. After retirement, she focused mostly on sunbathing and treats.

We lost Milla on 7/17/2023 at the age of 17.5 - a long and wonderful life.
