Halyard

Halyard was the clown at Regatta. He was very reserved at first, but once he warmed up to you he really let his goofy personality shine. He never ceased to make us laugh and he loved to sit up and do all sorts of other tricks. He was a very fast learner and eager to please.

Hal was an ASCA Conformation Champion. He earned all points and majors in the altered program. He was a very correct and handsome dog. Hal could have easily earned his championship in the intact program, but was altered due to our own life circumstances and not because of any health or structural issues. Upon a quick glance, he was often mistaken for his sire, Pulley.

He competed in agility, and was lots of fun to trial. He was a very particular dog, and enjoyed spending his retirement patrolling for squirrels and sleeping in holes in the yard.

We lost Hal on 8/12/2024 at the almost 16 years old.
